Jesus Loves You - Do You Know Him?
Home • Sermon • Bible Study • Bible • Hymnal • Are You Saved? • About/Contact Us
We all wish for a better life and happiness.

No matter how bad things are in your life, Jesus has the answer:

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35 ESV

“OK, so how do I do that?”, you ask. Just believe in Jesus, it is that simple:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

It is called faith. If you have faith in Jesus Christ, then peace is yours. All you need to do is believe that Jesus is the answer and find that peace.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

Some think a better life can be achieved by money, wealth, or the accumulation of things to show off to others. But, they find that although they achieve a better job or have success in business or obtain that latest “thing”, they still find something wanting in their life. Jesus said, “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

Others think that the road to happiness is through alcohol or drugs or sex, but they can lead to addiction and ruin. They may cover your unhappiness for a short time, but are always a disappointment. Sin is appealing, but it never satisfies in the end. Only your faith in God through Jesus Christ can give you true happiness.

If you want that happiness today, you need to pray to God right now, ask him to forgive you of your sins in the past and tell him that you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior.

If you are truly repentant, if you really do want to follow a different path away from the darkness or sin and towards the light of Jesus Christ, a burden will be lifted from you. Continue down that road and you will find true peace. Your life can be changed, you need only to ask God to help you. Faith in God and Jesus Christ has saved countless lives for thousands of years.

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 ESV

OK, now it is up to you. Bow your head and ask God for forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ as your savior right now. Do not put it off.

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Proverbs 27:1 ESV

If you once accepted Christ, but have fallen in sin and think that God could never forgive you for what you have done. Pray to God and ask him to forgive your sins and rededicate your life to live it as Jesus would want you to live it. You can be forgiven, you need only ask.

May the peace of God be with you.

11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
